Default Better Headlights for Night Driving????

I have a 2001 Mustang and the headlamps simply do not put out enough lighting for me. Is there an aftermarket light that puts out better lighting, or need I simply install driving lights. I also notice that the cornering lighting is not that good either. Can you guys help with some suggestions? I have already changed the lamps to the high intensity lamps - still not that great. Any suggestions?
