I have a 1969 Mach 1 with a 351w.The rear endis a non-posi 28 spline unit and I am in the process of upgrading to a 31 spline posi unit. I already aquired a 31 spline posi 3rd member with 3.50:1 ratio. I am planing on buying after market 31 spline axels. My question is of the compatability of the rear end housing, axel bearings, and new 31 spline axels. DoI need to obtain a newrear end housing that accomodates the 31 spline axel, buy new axel bearings that fix in my current rear end housing that accept the 31 spline axel,or do the new axelsfit right in the current rear end and current bearings? Please help me out or point me in the right direction!
