Going to get right to the point. I WANT A FOX BODY MUSTANG !!!!!!!! But however i do have a few questions before i buy . Is there any major difference between the 87-93 5.0 GT motor tranny (manual) wise ? I know the general things too look for when buying a car butis there anything specific i should look for in these year stangs ?

 

I am pretty sure the trannys are the same. since those cars are starting to get old I would look for rust, the latch on the center armrest is always broken, if you want to mod one get an 89-93 5.0 because they have MAF and it works better. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head

 

i believe the 89-92 had forged pistons and the 93 had hypereutectic pistons.so i would go with a fox between 89 and 92.

 

yup look for an 89-92 the 89 will be the last year with the tilt wheel/no airbag but the 90-92 are allthe same
