Does disconnecting the battery erace codes?
I was having issues with running rich and I really need to find out what code was being thrown but I diconnected the battery and now it won't start at all. Will I still be able to read the old codes or are they lost?

yes disconnecting the battery will erase codes(most of the time) once the car starts back up and runs it will usually sense the same problem and pull the code up again. since you cant start the car though that could be a big problem

But I don't have any friends.. I'm kidding the car cranks fine it is just running so rich it's flooding out. Couldn't drive it down there if I wanted to.

It almost sounds like a issue I had with my ranger not to long ago. It turned out to be a PVC tube was cracked. Check for vacum leaks and make sure all the vacum and any other tubes are connect and not cracked or loose. I would even check out the pvc tubeing going from teh pcv valve and the tube that goes from the vavle cover to the intake tube.
PS
It was throwing codes of bad o2 sensors and runing rich.

Yeah just checked for the codes tonight and there was none. Couldn't get it to run either. Oh well I have some ideas as to what is wrong it just would have been nice to have seen those codes.
