Default head advice

i recently rebuilt my 5.0 before i deploying. the only thing i was unable to do was buy aftermarket heads due to prices. i also dont know what to look for in a head. the intake and exhaust really get me. I used a summit rebuild kit and a professional product typhoon upper and lower intake with a 65mm throttle body and using 24lb injectors. I have a ford f303 cam with .226 duration and .512 lift. also mac equal shortie headers with 3:73 gears. i had to put a MAF with an ECU from a '93 cobra to take care of the speed density problem. all i really need are heads. what type of intake and exhaust numbers should i be looking for?

I'm no fan of the 93 cobra ecu...but the heads you need to look at combution chamber size, shaped and runner volumes....several good heads out their in different price ranges..yes the afr's are great but but prop-line and top-line heads are a lil cheaper as is the x303 ford head which I have seen for 699.99 a set

well i needed to over come my speed density ecu and the cobra ecu was at a good price. dont make mutch in the military. im not sure what intake and exhaust #s i need. the closest set up similar to mine was running afr 185 heads. but i dont know what are the intake exhaust specs for them.

so i think im going to go with gt40 turbo swirl aluminum heads. my flat top pistons wont take 2.02 valve intakes.
if i used AFR i would go with 165cc. gt40's will save me some cash i seriously need.
