I have 347 stroker throwing belts bad

 

Can you be anymore specific, like is something that you just put together, stock or aftermarket pulleys and what the belt arrangement is (serpentine, or multi-belt) let me know I'll try to help.

 

ti has about 1200 miles on it. it has chrome stock pull. v-belt alt. and power steering. it is fine until I really get on the motor. The motor is about 450 hp and 150 nos. One pass down track and both belts were gone. Motor mount are good. I gues if it is a tork thing I'll have to put a serp. system on it would like not to for money reasons. I have also been told I can take a late 5.0 belt system and put it on mine. O da it is in a 66 mustang

 

I had a 351 in a truck with the v-belt setup and everytime I got on it the belt would go flying!! By the eye I coulnt see it but I had my alt. shimmed out to far and it was not dead on and would throw it!! Check and make sure every pulley is the same distance out!!!
