A guy I know had me look at his civic about a popping noise when he turned and the boot for the inner tie rod had ripped and it was popping on and off the clip that holds it in place instead of compressing and contracting with the movement.
Could be a balljoint going out. Are there any vibrations comming from it?

I have the noise as well. Car has 11,000 mile on it. I don't get the poping turning back to the right, only when I turn left.
And I will say it first for all to laugh at: "Just don't turn left" HA HA

Sounds like something may be loose. Just get in there and make sure all the suspension and brakes are tight and in serviceable condition.
