Default 01 GT - quick question

On a 01 GT, whats the max stock mph? I think its 140 or so (at least thats what I had it up to before I had to slow down) Also, whats the max mph before failure on a chipped GT?

Please let me know, thanks!

John

I had mine up to 155 and still had more to go but had to shut it down because I was running out of road, I did this before I started to modd it. Not sure what you are asking about here "Also, whats the max mph before failure on a chipped GT?" what do you mean?

What I basically mean is that there has to be a structural limit (shocks, axles, tie rods, and etc.) I would like to know the max limit in mph. I'm too curious for my own good I know :P

I don't know of any structural limit, but if you are going to be driveing super fast all the time you better make sure that you have GOOD TIRES rated for the speed that you are going to be going. But I do not thing that you are going to break anything structural on it just by going fast. You will probley find out that top speed is atound 165-175 on stock gears (if i am wrong please someone correct me) if you change your gears it will be slower or faster depending on what gears you go to. Hope this helps
