I just got this mustang its a 5.0 and i never have really liked fords but now that i have it i love it! Im just trying to learn a little bit about these cars since i have really never messed with them. Where is the fuel filter ? And is it anything i should watch out for ? Thanks alot mark

Jump over to the 5.0 section you will get more help there my man and go to the part store and get you a haynes manual! Your fuel filter will be on the passenger side toward the back. Just get under there and look.

If it is like my 89 it is on a crossmember in front of
the fuel tank. You cannot pull the hoses off. You
need a special tool to take off the high pressure
hose ends.

Yes it is in front of the gas tank, but you don't need any special tool. Just take a straight screwdriver and pry out the two plastic clips. There is one on each end. Try not to be laying right under it when you pull of the hoses because some gas will come out.
