hey well im in the same area as u. repazent 604/778 lol anyways i got a v6 01 but its standard and the only times i have problems with slipping is on takeoff just explain to her not to underestimate the car and throw on some thick winter tires on the back so it wont slip even if she wanted too. the amount of rain in vancouver isnt too bad but if your looking for a all year vehicle in our area i dont think a mustang is for you/her. mine is only summer driving so its not out in the winter months when its snowing cuz thats when things start to get hectic and slipping occurs. hope it helps
