yes stock are shorties but they are crimped at the flange and if he replaced them then they would be a bigger diameter

Stock headers are somewhat oval at the flanges and restrictive, aftermarket ones are round at the flanges. The flanges after the cats is cat back and the last section over the axle from muffler back is the tailpipe. Stock exhaust is 2 1/4' The section that is between the headers and the mufflers is the midpipe, in stock form there are 4 cats in this section with a crossover pipe called a H pipe. Hope this helps you figure out if its stock or not.

This seems a good place for me to put this question: If I upgrade my exhaust from single to dual, do I need to do anything else to the car itself or anything? My lil bro's best friend and dad owns a car shop and they can get me the dual exhaust flow masters for free but I would pay their "friends and family" installation price. But will I need to make other adjustments for the change?

mune... the best thing i can say is to look underneath the car and check it out. follow tubes down fro mthe headers and see if it's a Y-pipe. if it is then yes you will need to get new pipes there including the flows
