Vertical Doors look awesome!!!! After reading all the posts I still really have the same opinion. They look awesome. I can understand the rice arguement but, IMO I have only seen maybe 3 or 4 other cars w/ vert. doors. (No I havent seen a lambo in person) All were rice of some sort. I still think that it is unique. True rice is where all of the "import ricer" cars put on the same thing. In my area that includes an unpainted half body kit, a whale tail wing, and a fart can. THis is rice IMO. The vert. doors look unique and while it does differ from older muscle cars, I think a little change is good. Under all of our hoods we all have different set ups that make our engines unique. While most of the people arent into big appearance mods, some are. That shouldn'g make them any less of a mustang. I dont think turbos are rice either although many ricers in my area use them. Some people want a subtle sleeper while others do want to draw some attention to their cars. Either way is fine and with the lambo doors, it will get attention whether positive or negative. THat is the goal and it accomplishes the goal none the less. In short, I love them and would do it asap.

Parts aren't rice if they come stock on sweet carzs. I'm making my 88 honda into the sweetest car on the block. I'm putting on the wing from the evo, altezzas off a lexus, type R sticker off teg, hood scoop off the mustang, lambo doors, and 19 inch rims off a carrerra gt.
This is not rice because they come from sports cars, so they will make my honda perform better.

 

Vert doors are not going to be unique in 6 months. Every ricer and their brother want a set. They are going to be so played out in a year they are going to make spinners look cool. If you want unique get them now because they wont be unique soon.

 

I'm sorry, mate, but I do believe you've just given us the textbook definition of RICE. You'll spend thousands of dollars, and end up with a Frankensteinish abomination that will scream in Japanese much like his monster, "wakarimasu wo, gai jin??!!!??...." But if you like it, have fun! But don't expect me not to laugh my butt off when I see a 88 honda with lambo doors, a mustang hoodscoop, and a humongous spoiler. Ahem...good luck to you, sir.
