No, you dont need to find a bulb that will blend to make pink. All you need to do is sand off the film on the back of the gauges. I did it a few weeks ago and just got my blue LEDs in last week. I'm still trying to fix the "hot spots" but I love the way it looks.

Here ya go. Like I said I have been trying to fix the hot spots and have gotten it a little better but it still needs some work.
