06 Mustang

HELP I can't get the key out of the ignition with the battery hooked up what in the world is the problem?

Yes in park, I can't get the key out with the battery cable hooked up. I may need a Ford Mustang schematic,where can I get one?

I don't understand what does the battery being hooked up has anything to do with being able to remove the key? Do you mean you CAN remove the key if the battery is unhooked?
