Default All gasolines are different???

Hey, so I keep hearing that gas is gas. Ive read articles online saying that every gas is pretty much the same because they all have to pass a certain test...i was always someone who believed that and told people "gas is gas, just go to the cheapest station".....but recently I started using Exxon more often, and for some reason my car runs A LOT cleaner, smoother and flat out BETTER.

not even Shell makes my car run as good as Exxon does. All the other gasolines make my car feel dirty (i use the cheap 87 one on my 1999 Mustang V6, 3.8L).

does anyone else notice this, that Exxon gasoline seems to help ur car perform better? or is it just me?

Gas is the same. The difference is different brand names (exxon, citgo, sunoco, shell) is they put different additives as the gas is being poured into the tankers that deliver the gas to the stations.
