RE: Ford Warranty Issue
We will have to see, he seemed to say that if anything that i would have to pay for would be the friction disc, nothing else...we'll see, who knows it looks as if I maybe selling the poor car after all though, gotta pay for school somehow

RE: Ford Warranty Issue
It's not necessarily the throwout bearing. Those 3650 transmissions are junk. There are all kinds of input shaft, pilot bearing, syncro and gear problems with them.
Ford is putting a whole new trans in my '03 GT this week. Before now, everything has been replaced or rebuilt and they still can't solve the various problems the damn thing has. I also know of several other guys on here who have had similar problems with them.
The clutch is a friction item and the warranty on friction items is pro-rated, which means that it depends on how long you have had the car and how much wear there is. However, if there is another issue which caused your clutch to wear, Ford will replace it.

RE: Ford Warranty Issue
Well in my case turns out it was the clutch. Thing was shattered. They are going to cover everything minus the friction disc! pays to have a good relationship with your advisor! lol. Should be back to me tomorrow, waiting on the flywheel from the machine shop.
