Default gauges need help

I recently replaced my fuel and temp gauges on my 19641/2 coupe , however when I got everything back together the gauges are not working , I have double and triple checked the wiring , the only problem that I can find is there is no power going to the fuse that contols the instruments in the fuse box. I defininitly need some help anyone who might be able to help me would be greatly apprieciated thank you ....Roger

If the problem is not a blown fuse, check every wire for splits, signs of shorting out like burns melts and more importantly check connection.

If that doesnt solve anythingthe units mighthave damage internally, check for any moisture in the units or any other signs of what should not be there. Only thingsI can think of...
