Problems getting it into 3rd Gear?

I just picked up a 2004 gt. When I get on it sometimes I have a hard time getting it into 3rd, but when im driving casually around it shifts good. Anyone know the problem?

most likely the problem is that you dont know where the gears are yet. the stock shifter takes some getting used to.

Yea I need some more time with it, I guess maybe im just rushing while trying to race people and not hiting it into the spot right. Thanks man.

search for our tranny...

theres known problems with it not bieng able to shift into third over a certain rpm. try changing your fluid too cuz they overfilled most 3650s from the factory
