BRAKE light comes on with accelaeration?

BRAKE light comes on with accelaeration?
I have a 2000 mustang v6. Everytime I step on the gas, the dashboard BRAKE light comes on and stays on for a few seconds? I checked the emergency brake and it is secure. What could be wrong?

Sounds like brake fluid level is low. May be due to worn brake pads. Check your level, if it's low, make sure your pads a still good and not getting ready to eat the rotors.
