900 hp you need a completely new block. A stock block wont handle 900 hp regardless of wat u do to it. You need a race block. You can get a 302 race block for about 1800 bucks.

Also for 900 hp you need a good quality bottom end(pistons, rod, crank) the whole nine. That is a lot of hp you are trying to produce. Hope your budget is very loose.

never having tried to reach the limit, i do not know.
some people that should know say in the 600+ range. car craft did a 408ci to 611hp.at that level life is probably relative short.

my 87 has 225hp and i was looking at a paxton supercharger that said it adds 45-65% hp thats a average of atleast 50% which would put my hp range around 320hp my plan it to get atleast 375 reliable hp

at 45%(49) its arount 7 lbs of boost correct me if im wrong .....with a supercharger like paxton (centrifugal) how do you turn up the boost

the description says that it will only give you a max of 275 at 6 psi

you change the boot by different size pulleys...a smaller diameter pulley is going to turn quicker, therefore producing more boost, and a larger pulley is just the opposite. and when installing a blower, you are probably going to want to add a few bolt ons as well to maximize the performance of the blower, and MAKE SURE you get a good dyno tune. as a general idea, the more boost you are pushing, the les reliability you will have. from what i have heard, about 9psi is about as much boost as you want to put on a stock bottom end.
