Default 99-04 - Question about getting WOT with a spacer between pedal and throttle cable.

So I'm going to go with the method of putting tubing around the end of the throttle cable, then using small hose clamps to hold it on. How long should I make the tubing? Just enough to get the gas and brake pedals flush? I want to make sure I have enough to get WOT when I floor it.

Default RE: 99-04 - Question about getting WOT with a spacer between pedal and throttle cable.

thats acctually the purpose of the mod. to get you to WOT with less foot movement.

Slack it left in the cable for 2 reasons.
1. so that its a different height from the brake pedal (helpd you differintiate between the brake and gas)
2. to allow you to remove the cable from the throttlebody.
