This is because those Cobra owners don't know how to drive. I always tell people to back off the accelerator the minute you feel it hopping. I go to the track all the time and drop it at around 3500 with my stock IRS. I get no wheel hop and it grips very well with my Nittos. Of course, that is with 12psi in the tires. I consistently run 1.7s in the 60 as well. Of course, I'd much rather have a built solid so I could really launch and get 1.5s and also better ETs.

The point was that if you are going to build a drag car, you would prolly go solid rear axle.
