Default Heads for 438ci sbf ?

I'm building a 351w stroked to 438ci. Dart block 9.5 deck 4.125 bore, Eagle crank 4" stroke,Eagle H beam rods 6.2" and JE Dome top pistons with 14.5 to 1. I was looking at the AFR 225 heads Part # 1456. Anyone have advice. Please dont reply if you dont know not being rude. This will be a all out race engine w/ two stages of nitrous.

Id definatly go with the AFR 225's. Thats a good healthy motor your building there and its gonna need all the air you can give it. AFR's quality is the best IMO, you definatly get what you pay for from them. I wouldnt ever buy any other heads after having my hands on my 185's.

AFR 225's would be good, but some people aren't too fond of AFR and have had to modify the race heads to get them to work right. Any time you get into a custom race build though that's bound to happen. You could also try looking at some ported TFS heads or Canfields. If you have some money to spend, then one of the best heads you could get would be a Brodix Neal BF 200 or 300 series head, but them puppies is expensive as hell.
