Removing paint off a polyurethane bumper?
What's the best way? Some of you might have seen the pictures a few days ago of the Cervini's cobra R bumper I picked up for $20. I've been sanding it away...extremely slowly and it's just taking way to long. Is there a better way to do it? I was thinking, could it be sandblasted? Like if I brought it to a sandblasting place and it could be done, how much do you think they would charge?

I just got a Cervini front chin spoiler. I didn't realize it needs a lot of cleaning. I primed it and it just wiped off.
Watched a video.,
1st clean it with Acetone
2nd use a scrub pad and Ajax and scrub it all down till the shine is gone and it's all dull.
3rd wash it clean and dry
4th wipe clean with alcohol
5th. Spray with an adhesion promoter, about 2 coats
6th within 10 minutes prime it. Maybe 2-3 coats
7th Light sand the primer, very fine grade paper
8th Paint it, thin coats then to thicker coats let it dry 10-20 between coats
9th (optional) clear coat it if you want a shine, or select a matte clear coat
10th let it cure for a day or so. Eventually it'll completely cure and it'll be ready. I always say if you can't smell the paint anymore on it, it's about done.
then install.
