Default wandering 69

Help me please. I have a 1969 Mustang coupe that has a wandering problem when I drive it. It's not bad at slow speeds, but at about 50mph. it starts to get a little scary. It does have power steering and it is full of fluid. I've been told it could be in need of a steering box or maybe just a simple adjustment. Either way it needs to be fixed. Where should I start and will it be an expensive fix?

How old are the front end components? ie; (tie-rods,ball joints etc) I would start there first to make sure everything is in good shape. There is an adjustment that can be made on the steering box to tighten it up if that is the problem. You could take it to a front end shop and have it inspected to seewhat the problem is.

I figure it's a combination of worn front end parts and a need for a front end alignment.
Bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, and maybe bearings can get pretty expensive but if you're going to keep the car I'd use good quality parts.
