Air Bag Light came on while jump starting
Left the lights on in my 94 / 3.8L 5spd man, battery dead, luckly i was on a hill and was able to leave it in gear and manually boost it that way, as soon as i pushed clutch back in after fireing up the air bag light came on and its staying on... no blinks just solid... any ideas? if its not going to be an easy fix how can i get rid of the light LOL,
thanks in advance

The air bag module has set off a code that the battery has been disconnected for more than 30 min. I dont remmeber the procedure or how long you ahve to do it but you will have to put the key in hte ignition and after a certain amount of blinks you have to jump a connector under the passengers side dash behind the glove box. you only jump it for a few seconds. do a search on this site for air bag codes. Wish I save the link to where I found it cause I am gonna have to do it myself after I put my motor back together. Not sure if the search function is working with the new form layout yet.

Look directly under the glove box and you will see a large wiring harness that goes to the computer. The plug - gray with one black wire and a brown/blue wire was taped to that harness.
Cycle the key to on engine off and airbag light to flash the code at least one time but before the light stays on. Once it flashes the code once, connect a jumber wire to the two prongs. After about 5 seconds the diagnostic module will beap 5 times. Remove the jumber cables and wait to see if there are other codes. If so just repeat the steps. That's it.
