My 93 Mustang is having throttle problems?
I dont know whats going on i start the car and everything is ok then when i give it gas it sputters like it wants to go but is having trouble with maybe not enough gas or something of this sort just not sure i have replaced the exhaust and spark plugs and i am still not having any luck. If anyone knows what the plaoblem could be please help me out with it. I also think it may be the Fuel Injectors but dont want to spend 300.00 on them without being sure. I did have them cleaned but that may not have helped. I also am thinking it may be the fuel pump but once again i dont want to spend 200.00 plus 5 hours on the car without being sure. So if anyone has any insight for me please help me out on either how to figure this out or maybe you had the same problem and know whats wrong. Please help me out.
When was its last full tuneup? Couldnt hurt. Air filter, fuel filter, PCV, clean the metal filter under PCV (its removeable), clean the IAC and the EGR. You changed plugs but what about the cap/rotor, and the plug wires? If its been too long to remember than it needs done. If it still sputters check for codes.
Few years back i had hesitation and stalling every so often after i took it from park to drive or reverse. Thought i had a fuel problem but everything was good. Check engine light never came on but when hooked up to a scanner code 66 popped up which was my MAF sensor. Bought a new sensor and never had a problem since. You may have a different problem so dont go buy a new MAF just because.

could be the 3 fuel pump ,fuel filter or fuel injectors . It is really hard to tell you need to see a mechanic cause this is not something you really want to do yourself and you are not really sure what the problem is anyway and I think you really do need a mechanic.good luck.
