Default PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, im not a big mustang guy, but im on here because my best buddie owns a 1991 mustang lx with the 5.0 4 speed in it nad his B-day is coming up and he really wants a B&M rachet shifter. I found this one will this fit in his car(Like i said i dont know much about mustangs.

A: the shifter part itself is basically universal. the balance of the shifter assm. if you bought it new would be made to fit your trans. I.E. cable, hardware, brackets, etc. mike .
I'd look around and not bid on that one. Look for a kit that will go on a manual trans. With that one he may go nuts looking around for hte rest of the stuff he needs to make it work.

What else would he need. He has an automatic 4 speed. And this is for the automatic 4 speed???? What would he need?

Well it's pretty cheap so, go for it. No boot? That means all the mechanical parts are gonna be out in the open for all to see.. kinda unsightly?

..there are probably gonna be some missing nuts & bolts, maybe even linkage parts(?)

I'd look around for a complete kit he may still go a litle nuts looking for the extra stuff a kit usualy comes with. Thought he had a manual not a aut.
