Default What Intake is better?

I was wondering what i should do with my intake. right now i have a 2001 v6 mustang with a K&N air intake people tell me to go with a cold air intake. Any suggestions or is K&N a good brand.....
Ive seen some cheap ones on americanmuscle.com but idk if they are good enough

Theyre pretty much all the same, unless they have a MAF built in. As long as you removed the stock air silencer, any intake will perform, including the stock tube. If you want the shiny under the hood, then get a CAI

On the 3.8L V6 (in mostly stock trim) a K/N filter and removing the air silencer will give you the exact same hp/tq as paying for a worthless flashy cold air intake. Save your money for something that will help you.
