I have a 98 Mustang on which I've replaced the tires once. On the stock tires, there was outer tire wear on the front tires: so much wear that the inner still showed great thread. It's that time again to change tires due to this tread. Why is this happening on the outside of the front tires?
thanks
I'm surprised whoever replaced your tires didn't suggest an alignment right off. If they didn't, they didn't know what they were doing because now you have cut down on the life of the tire.
Alignment, low air pressure and continuous hard cornering will all contribute to premature outer tire rim wear. Does sound as though your alignment is way off.
