Default Installing Eibach Pro Kit today?

I took out the rear springs and in the middle of the spring is some king of rubber cylinder looking thing, question is what is this things function and do I tranfer this over to the new springs?

i think the tech article on here shows it being reused...but we put that kit on my friends 95 about a month ago..and didnt transfer them and it hasnt shown any problems...

I got such mixed responses on this. I posted the same question on another forum I belong to and most said to ditch them, that it was the factory's way of making the springs progressive. I ended up not re-installing them. Mainly because I installed the first spring and realized I forgot to put it in and really didn't feel like taking the spring back out LOL. In any case the car drives awesome with the new spring kit, just wish it lowered the front a bit more.

i took mine out, as long as you have the insulators on the bottom and top. just to help keep the ride a little smoother

Cool, yeah I put in a brand new set of Prothane polyurethane isolators on the top and bottom of the springs when I did the install.

The Eibach Sportlines lower the front more for that raked stance. I think my Prokit is worn, because my front sits lower than the back unless theres something in the trunk
