Default oil/water gauges

to wire up aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauges, you only need 2 wires going into the engine compartment right? one for each sender. everything else splices into the back of the defrost switch. right?

Mine are one wire per. One to the OP sender, and one to the WT sender, then the powers are wired into the radio. Mine are "Glowshifts", work great and cheap
