Dash guages quit working
My son has a 95 mustang. He is having a problem with his dash guages not working. They light up just fine with the headlights on, but they don't move.
First off i will say that he is an 18 year old, and lives with his mom, not me, so i have not had a chance to work on it myself but i will try to explain this the way he explained it to me.
He had a few electrical problems and i told him to check the fuses first. He said he pulled out and checked a bunch of them including the metal looking fuse in the center of the fusebox under the dash. It says 7mb on it. What is this piece for? Could it be for the dash guages?
What could cause the guages to just quit working? If that was for the guages, could it possibly need reprogrammed? I'm just trying to get this figured out for him, rather than pay someone to do it. THX. Jerry.

Tell him to check #13. this is in the instrument panel fuse box. It does sound like a fuse to me, I would rule that out before going to any more expensive options. #13 is a red 10 amp fuse, there may be some spares located either in the fuse box or the one under the hood.
