Im guessing its power windows?

Does the motor make noise like its working? If no than the motor is probably shot, or you may just have a loose/corroded connection. Youll need to remove the door panel to check. Does the passenger side work? If not than you have a bad switch. Just to be sure grab a test light and test the switch for power when you press the button. Then test the wires at the motor when you press the button.
