Default 5.4?

Which 5.4 dohc long block should I set goals to get? The Navi block or the Aluminum one from a GT? I really want to get my hands on 2008 Falcon GT engine though. Thats what I had my mind set on building anyway.

well youll kind of have to look around for headers, most shorties will work just fine - provided you get an aftermarket K member

BTW, what is so special about the '03 blocks compared to the 99-02? As well what would it take to get some long tubes on there? Depending on difficulty and price I'm trying to decide if my plans should include the long tubes with s/c or a t/c setup.

the 2003 blocks are stronger and more refined... the older blocks will do pretty much just as well, so its nothing to get hung up about, but depending on what your looking for and your end goals the 2003 block might be worth it to you...I would say that its maybe more 100 more for that block maybe 200, but no more than that
