Default fuel pump and fule injecter problem

I own a 1987 ford mustang GT with a 5.0 302 in it. My problem came about a week ago when I herd that my fule pump and my fuel injectors were not turning off when i shut off the car they keep pumping from the fuel pump to the fuel injectors and the fuel injectors keep shooting the fuel in to the cylinders when the key is out and the car is off. The only way I can stop this from happening is by disconnecting the battery from the car when not in use. Today I drove 17 miles from just above hafe a tank when i got to the place i was going it was below hafe a tank about at a 25% full left only the fuel injectors are getting too much fuel and its stalling out with it could my ignition be bad?
