lifter noise

hello friend's
i have rebuilt a 68 mustang with 200 6 cyl, everything is new except cam bearings and i cannot get the lifters to stop clatterin.have adjusted valves many times and still no luck.??????????

it has new lifters,cam,crankshaft and bearing's,new oil pump too

ALL the lifters are clattering? Something might have went wrong in the assembly, or maybe incompatible parts are being used?
