Couple noob questions
Hello everyone, let me first say that I'm a Chevy guy. Nothing against Fords...just went a differnt route myself. Now on to my question. About 6 months ago my buddy scrapped out a Mustang in my backyard, sold the motor, trans, rear axle, some interior pieces and the rest went to the scrap yard. Well everything except the wheels. He said he was still trying to sell them...6 months later and they're still here. He owed me some money and I agreed to take the wheels/tires as payment. The tires are going on one of my Camaros (I own 3
). I'd like to sell the wheels, but don't know how much to ask and how to label them. He said they were Cobra wheels, they may very well be, I don't know I'm not a Ford guy. They have a Ford emblem cast into the back of the spokes, so I know they are factory wheels. Along with a few part numbers around the bolt circle and spokes. They are 4 lug 16x7. I know his car didn't come with them originaly (his was a four cylinder converted to a v8). And I don't have the center caps. They are in fairly good shape, no curb rash and no corrosion from steel weights. On one of them, the clearcoat is starting to peel.
Can anyone tell me exactly what I have? And a fair asking price? I'm not looking to get rich off them, I just want them gone. Thanks
