Guys,
i'm hoping someone has some experience with this.
a. battery appears to be dead (i might have left the radio on after drivng it 1 week ago).
b. tried to jump today...acted like everything was going to be fine (interior lights, radio, etc woke up!) until i turned on the ignition...at that point all interior lights, radio, etc. went totally dead.
c. subsequent attempts to jump failed. Rechecked all connections. Still nothing. Totally dead on inside of my stang

Did i blow a fuse or something?

Any help would be very much appreciated. My car is dead in the driveway.

try another set of jumper cables

Usually if you have power like that and then you try and start in and lose power inside the car, it's a connection problem. Have you taken off the terminals and cleaned them and retry?

Did you put a battery charger on it?

guys,
with the help of folks on this forum we figured it out...the dead battery jump effort triggered the antitheft system...so using the key fob i locked and unlocked the car. Problem solved!
