Default fourd a .5" plastic plug under my top

Just got an 06 Mustang w/tan convertible top that had a .5" bump just beside/under the rear glass on the passenger side. I was able to get my hand in the seam with the top partially open and dig out a push in plastic plug. Any idea where it came from and is there any way I can easily plug it back in?

A pic would probably help.

Default loose plastic plug under my top

I have gotten it out, and it was located at the rear window, just under the passenger side corner. I have a pic but since I am new and didnt see how to attach it? I was hoping that maybe it was an extra one left there at the factory?

Thumbs up

When you go to reply, look down below the text box where it says additional options. Click on the button that says manage attachments. Open it up, find the file and click upload.

Default picture of bump in my convertible top.

I do not have that option at the bottom of my reply. There are options just not the add attachments. HELP!

I have gotten this bump out.....it was a plastic plug and I was just trying to find out where it may have come out of. Maybe it was just an extra dropped during manufacting?
I've also noticed that the rear bow seems to be bunching the pad and I would like to smooth this out, possibly by applying a new 'rub strip' of some type?
