Question Tires/Wheels to fit a 94 gt convertible

Hello, I am new to being a mustang owner ( 2 wks) and my car has 245/45/17 rims and tires. I have had and drag raced Torino Cobras from 1970's and now have this great mustang. I like the look of the smaller rim and larger profile tires and wondered if anyone knew what rim size would clear the disc brakes and the front fenders for cornering.

WELCOME TO MF'S
You should check out the " 5.0 "section of the forums. Look around in " wheels & tires " section too. When I get my income tax money, I'm going to buy Weld Pro Star 15" rims all around because I like the larger profile look too.

My Gt originaly had 225/50/16 before i switched to 17 inch rims. Think the side walls were bigger when i first got it new like 225/65/16 I think.
