Hi! And a few questions...
Hey all!
I've got a few questions as a first time Mustang buyer. I'd appreciate responses that include reasons and experience, not just opinions (though I'll take those too ). Thanks in advance.
First off, the cash I'll spend on the vehicle will be around $8000-$10000 when I'm ready to buy, and I'd be willing to take out a $6000-$8000 loan on the vehicle too ($14000-$18000 in total). Also, I'll be using this car as a daily driver (if that helps at all).
Second, here's a list of the specs that I'd like to have:
1. V8. I'm in love the sound that thing makes (with the right mods), and obviously the performance that comes with it is no joke either.
2. Convertible. As a former Jeep driver, this is pretty high on my priority list, but I don't want it to take the place of a V8.
3. I like the look of the 05-09 generation, but only if it allows me to have a V8 and a convertible top too. In other words, #1 and #2 on this list are a higher priority than the model year.
So... with that in mind, what Mustang should I go for? Feel free to ask me as many questions as you want and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.
Thanks!

Welcome! You have an adequate budget in mind to get yourself an S197 vert GT with ease in this economy. Just search auto trader online locally before you hit up a dealership so you have a bargaining price in mind. Dont discuss financing or anything like that to let on that you have such a hefty down payment until you have gotten them to commit to a price on the car. These things are everywhere and they know that. Be stern and stand your ground and you will get a good deal im sure. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply!
And that's great to hear. I'll be picking her out in the next couple of months (and hopefully sooner than later).
Thanks for the buying tips, too. Those will come in handy I'm sure.

Hi everyone. I really dont know where to post anything, but i have some questions. Umm, first off i drive a 2008 Mustang Bullitt and i would like to get an K&N cold air intake or a BBK Cold Air Intake. I already have an intake but its stock and i was wondering which one i should get, and would it increase horsepower? I was on americanmuscle.com and im just researching. Can you please help me out? I do not know what to do.
