Default Is there a "Mustang For Dummies" thread/site?

Now that I'm here I'm spending a lot of time researching the terms used across the site (still trying to figure out what S197 means). Is there a thread or a website that explains some of the more complicated elements of the Mustang?

im sure if you ask whatever question you have about your mustang that people here would be more than happy to answer them. Thats why we're all here, to talk about our mustangs, so ask away!

The New Edge Mustangs were also SN-95 platform cars, though obviously different in many respects.

Thank you for the list, reading up now to try and understand horsepower versus torque and exactly what a 'dyno' is except I think it is used to test your cars horsepower.

Reading into this as I've been researching about superchargers and their 'noise' levels to see if it's in relation to the superchargers power, or just the brand.

Dyno is used to find your HP- Horsepower and torque, and also to tune your car to find the optimal levels.
Superchargers have "whine" it is how you can tell someone has a blower (supercharger). Sometimes you can tell the type of supercharger by listening to it, other times you can't.

Don't worry you'll get the hang of it in no time, about noise having to do with power it has no real correlation to power it makes. An Edelbrock supercharger makes almost no noise and is the most powerful one for S197(2005-Present) Mustangs. And about identifying superchargers by sound Saleen and Whipple have a very distinct whine I can pick out, so noise just really depends on type of supercharger.
