ok well i found an 86 5.0 5 speed for 275 thats in a good shape engine trans wise but the bodys ****ed but i don't need that...i wanted to swap it into my 1990 mustang...now i have a question on wiring and stuff....is the wiring harness going to need to be wiried up do they plug in together or what not...i know that the 5.0 stuff can be bolted into the 2.3 i have now but i need to change out other than the engine and trans and rear end i need to change the front brakes because of calipers and disks for better stopping...the master cylinder for more power to the brakes right...if anyone can give me a link to swaping a 5.0 into my car that would be great because its kind of hard to find a nice swap guide....thanks for the help and everything...i know its a tired question and has been asked way to many times but i just wanted to check everything before i get into tons of wiring and crap...

 

just swap everything over from your donor car. computer, wiring harness, rear end, brakes, etc. you will need to upgrade the cooling sytem too, but i would buy a new aluminum radiator as the 86 has probably lost a lot of effiiency.

 

ok that sounds good...i didn't know if they changed anything from the 86 to the 87-93 models...i know it has speed density but i have already looked up mass air convertion i just want to get a 5.0 under the hood first...should be a great upgrade...just need to find another car to drive around while i do the swap...
