Default BBK CAI

I recently bought a mustang and about to add CAI to it, and next month I'll be adding a full exhaust.

I'm wondering what some people think about this CAI or if anyone recommends something better.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a tuner? Your going to need a tuner too! Most people go with Doug for a good CAI/Tune Package at bamatunes. A lot of other people use Brenspeed. I can't vouch for either as I dont have a CAI+Tune combo.
Dont run that thing without a tune though. ++ If you see a CAI that doesn't require a tune it's probably not worth buying.
*Edit* After looking more it says that one doesn't require a tune. I'd just get a CAI+Tune if you're going to spend the money. The tuner can really come in handy for getting better MPG (Economy tune) or the "go faster tune" (Race tune, 91 or 93 octane).

Oh and Welcome!

Thanks a lot for your information, I did do more research and found out that it's a lot better to get a tuner with your CAI.

Now I have another question, I'm looking between two C&L and Steeda CAI, not that money is an issue here because I'd rather spend whatever I need to get the most out of my car, but I personally don't know the difference between them except the price.

Any input on that?

I've seen probably an equal amount of people get C&L and Steeda, I really dont know the difference, unless your buying a name which I doubt you are. I have a feeling the more expensive one will run less hot (some crappy CAI's get like burning hot for whatever reason) and also will give you more bang for your buck... You're probably looking at around $500-700 depending on what you want. But DEFINITELY get a tuner heh. Spend more you get more

That looks good,
Have you checked out Bamatunes though? I believe they are similar priced and I hear Doug over there makes the best tunes possible. Just a thought. I've never heard any complaints about AmericanMuscle
