I have an escort passport 8500, it was a bit expensive, but it most certainly has paid for itself in the past months. Another good option is the valentine 1 which most other people love as well. My friend has the valentine and based on what I've seen is that these 2 have comparable detection capabilities. The only difference is that the valentine has arrows to show the direction of the signal. Some people like it, but I didn't care for it

I would go with an Escort Passport. Its the best bang for the buck, and what I chose out of the 3 I recommended. Anything 6800 or above is a good radar.

I use the BELL PRO RX65 I bought it new on e-bay shipped for 225.00
