Default Wheel hop

Any suggestions on how to eliminate wheel hop on my 99 cobra...stock suspension. I will be upgrading gears..

upper and lower control arms are what eliminate wheel hop. just try lowers first. if still have wheel hop, get uppers too. that SHOULD take care of it(so ive heard. no suspension mods yet for me)

The Upper/lowers will help but the only way to eliminate wheel hop will be to swap that IRS out to a live axle. IRS is know for its wheel hop under hard acceleration.

you mean the '99's had irs too ?? i thought only the '03+ Cobras had IRS............that sux.

IRS is bad for the hop. I agree with earlier post - solid axle swap for the IRS. You can spend big money and you'll never get close to what the solid axle will do for you. You're pushing about 350 or so at the flywheel, so if you convert to the solid axle, make sure you install torque boxes (like UPR $159) to handle the power where the control arms attach to the subframe. You'll regret not doing it.
