Default Intake Question

(posting this for a good friend of mine)
He recently purchased a 1994 ford mustang with a 302eng.
he also got a GT 40 Intake from a 1999 ford explorer.
He wants to know if this will work and if so what all needs to be changed or what has to be done to make this work? Does he need the aluminum adapter piece for it? If you need more info just let me know and Ill ask him and replay back to you quickly. Thanks for reading my post, Have a good day!
One more question: What is the difference between the GT40 Intake on a 96 vs. 99; and which is better?

If I'm not mistaken the 99's had the gt40P heads and intake on them. The P series heads and intakes are better. It should be a direct fit. It's not going to be a big gain in horsepower though. Might as well get heads and a cam while your at it.
