Question Hood flexing at speed?????

My son and I just purchased a 2002 Mustang GT 5 speed manual. I had the car inspected and no signs of body damage were found. The thing is, at speed, say around 50 mph, you can see the hood flexing up toward the back of the hood! It appears to latch securely up front, but I am concerned the hood could come loose on the highway which would not be good. Any ideas on what the problem could be and how to repair it? I was thinking that perhaps there is some wind deflector missing underneath the front facia or something like that, but I am not familiar enough with this car to know. With enough pressure under the hood to flex it up, seems it wouldn't take much for an accident to happen! Any help is appreciated. Dave

check the latch when it is fully closed. no play should be noticed. also, the bolts on the hood hinges.

my buddies did that too. His front support was broken (holds the headlights, etc.....). It had been in an accident and was broken. It is plastic. Check that as well.

The hoods on our cars (at least the 99-04) do flex and move alot naturally. I'm not sure exactly what yours is doing, but i know on mine it moves alot (from my perspective) which is totally normal from what i've been told.
