Default Brights switch

I have the same problem on both my cars, the brights don't stay on. You have to hold the switch back to keep them on, which really really sucks. I'm just wondering if they just need new switches (and how hard is that to do??) or is it something more stupid?

just to eliminate the "more stupid" possibility..... you are PUSHING the lever until it clicks, right?
